regarding the HIG
regarding this blog and gruub’s post on the hig being dead and a lot of whiny bitches, id just like to clarify this:
the HIG is not a set of rules, but guidelines that can help you make great UI by teaching you the principles behind the way the plaftorm was designed and showing you common pitfalls and optimal solutions for the average use case.
Gruub’s post is nice reading material, but keep that in mind. i dont think the hig is dead, but if it is, man do some people enjoy sticking their dick in a rotting corpse
